Ashlea & Matt

Ashlea and Matt were married in the historic Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. This venue is a classic hotel with beautiful architecture and loads of history!  The rooms were comfortable and warm with plenty of space to allow for mostly unobtrusive photography. We split up on the day to allow for covering Matt at his hotel and Ashlea and the girls in their suit in The Swan. The girls were a lot of fun to work with; cheeky, engaging and most importantly full of smiles and fun! The boys were steadfast chaps in tails and matching ensemble - including a very authentic looking Victorian pocket watch for Matt!

The ceremony was beautiful with a natural plant arch and family involvement bringing it together for an intimate feel. Due to the rain this room also doubled up for the formal guest portraits and big group shot. The Garden Room was used to host the wedding breakfast and a hilarious game of questions to Ashlea and Matt where a shoe was the equivalent of the buzzer, held in the air to score points! The first dance was a winner and followed by a choreographed mother/daughter dance which was energetic to say the least!

To finish the opening of the evening celebrations the weather cleared enough for sparklers and wine outside with the brides brother achieving the fastest twirling sparkler we've ever seen!
